Airport Home Appliance began as a small appliance and furniture store in 1963 built and run by Bernie Schwartz and his brother Manny. In 1970 Bernie sold his business to three engineers who are now enjoying retirement with one running a local winery in Livermore. In 1981 Don and Tomi Van Eeghen became the third and current owners of Airport Home Appliance. The two daughters, Kris and Kate, worked all weekends and after school at their family’s new business. The two had many years experience in retail already while working at Miller’s Home Appliance in San Jose. This second generation headed by Kate has taken this “Mom, Pop, & Daughters Shop” to what is now a nationally ranked and recognized appliance superstore. To this day our goal remains the same, providing our customers with larger brand selection as major appliance stores while offering the comfort and expert knowledge of a mom and pop retail business.

Our three showroom locations have every appliance that you’ve been looking for along with live kitchen vignettes to give you great ideas for remodeling your kitchen. Airport Home Appliance also has a great selection of the 3 top name mattress brands Sealy, Serta and Tempur-pedic.
